Phill Elliott Veterinary Parasitology Champion of the Year

Big recognition for Small World founder

We always love to see our clients getting recognition for how fantastic they are.

That’s why we were delighted that Phill Elliott of Small World Vet Centre recently was awarded the European Scientific Counsel Companion Animal Parasites (ESCCAP) UK and Ireland Veterinary Parasitology Champion of the Year.

It’s a wordy title but there could be no more worthy winner as Phill has been committed to green practice since long before we started working with him.

From the design of his practice, to the pet food he stocks and charities he supports, everything in Small World revolves around Phill’s passion for green activism.

Sustainable use of medicines, championing local conservation and a belief in One Health – the idea that the health of people, animals and the environment are all linked and must be considered as one – underpin the practice.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PET HEALTH PLANS

We were most proud to contribute towards Phill’s innovative take on pet health plans with the Small World wellness plans, and specifically his flagship Pet and Planet plan.

Combining climate contributions for every member and leading edge diagnostic testing to ensure parasite treatments and vaccinations are only administered as and when they’re needed – as well as everything else you’d expect from a Practice Made Purrfect health plan, such as unlimited consults – it’s a truly unique product in our industry.

One of the joys of working with some of the most innovative practices in the country is the opportunity to learn and we certainly benefited from Phill’s passion and knowledge for environmentally friendly veterinary practice.

Well done Phill, keep up the good work!
